The website now acknowledges commercial reality without restructuring around it. Documentation no longer blends institutional standards with platform/developer material into one undifferentiated list.
What changed
A proposal arrived to rebuild the homepage and navigation around the commercial cybersecurity platform as the lead story, ahead of OSG's institutional narrative. Separately, the underlying facts — the platform exists, its repository is public, OSG is entering commercialization — were real and not yet reflected anywhere on the live site.
Alternatives considered
- Rebuild the homepage and navigation platform-first, as originally proposed.
- Make no changes to the website until commercial milestones (a pilot, a customer, revenue) actually occur.
- Make narrow, fact-only additions — acknowledge the platform exists, link to it as evidence, update phase language — while leaving the institutional-first structure and hierarchy in place.
What was decided
Adopt the third option. The website continues to lead with institutional credibility; the commercial platform narrative lives in investor materials until commercial milestones become fact. The site gained: a Platform acknowledgment on the About page linking to the platform repository, a 'commercialization phase' statement, and Documentation reorganized into Platform, Developer, and Institutional categories — the first two pointing to the platform repository as canonical rather than duplicating it here.
Why
The website's job and the investor materials' job are different: the site is the institutional record, checked for consistency over time; investor materials can lead with commercial narrative because they're written for a specific reader at a specific moment. Rebuilding the site's hierarchy around a still-unproven commercial thesis would have made the two layers indistinguishable, and would have gone further than the facts on hand actually supported — the platform existing is real; enterprise traction is not yet real.

The platform's existence and public repository are founder-confirmed facts. The decision to keep the site institutional-first was an explicit strategic clarification distinguishing 'investor narrative' from 'public institutional narrative' as two separate layers.
